| Role Summary |
| • In addition to the role of Senior Pipeline Engineer, the Principal Pipeline Engineer shall manage the Senior Pipeline Engineers reporting to him. • Shall be able to independently handle the pipeline scope and lead a team of engineers and contribute to the projects/bids. • Shall guide the team in methodology, standards, and technical compliance. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| • Manage and oversee the pipeline engineering scope across assigned projects. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Senior Pipeline Engineers. • Ensure effective coordination with other engineering disciplines. • Review and approve engineering deliverables related to pipeline engineering. • Contribute to projects and bids, ensuring technical quality and compliance. • Develop and maintain company-level pipeline engineering standards, procedures, and best practices. |
| Education & Qualifications |
| • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Piping, or Offshore Engineering. • Masters in a relevant field is an advantage. • 13+ years of experience, with proven experience in pipeline engineering and offshore project execution. |
| Skills & Competencies |
| • Shall have excellent coordination and leadership skills. • Shall be capable of guiding engineers and designers. • Ability to manage multiple projects and technical teams simultaneously. • Strong knowledge of pipeline design, stress analysis, and relevant international codes. • Ability to make high-level technical decisions and ensure quality compliance across all projects. |
| Responsibilities |
| • Manage and oversee the performance and quality of pipeline engineering deliverables across all projects. • Supervise and provide guidance to Senior Pipeline Engineers. • Ensure effective coordination with other engineering disciplines. • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. • Provide technical input and guidance for projects and bids. • Identify technical issues and coordinate with the team to resolve design or execution challenges. • Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry codes, and safety standards. • Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and technical meetings with internal teams and clients. |
