Welcome to Algihaz Marine Contractors

AMC Voyager Q3|2026

Message from the CEO

Welcome to the third edition of AMC Voyager.

The past quarter has been an important one for AMC, with progress across our projects, marine operations, people and the systems that support our growth. We continue building a business focused on safe delivery, stronger operational capability, and disciplined expansion across our core markets.

Safety remains the foundation of that progress. During the quarter, we passed one million safe man-hours year to date without a recordable injury. This is a significant achievement and reflects the standards our teams maintain across offices, vessels and project sites. Sustaining that performance as activity increases remains one of our highest priorities.

Our offshore operations have also reached several important milestones. In Saudi Arabia, we successfully completed an offshore EPCI campaign, following the earlier completion of two others. Together, these projects represent a substantial programme of offshore work and add to AMC’s delivery track record in the Kingdom.

Champion has since moved from Saudi Arabia to the UAE, where it is now supporting a major subsea project offshore Abu Dhabi. Lamprell completed the detailed design, engineering, procurement and fabrication scope for this project, with AMC now leading the offshore phase through pipelay, flowline installation, subsea connections and testing. The campaign marks Champion’s first pipelay project under AMC’s full operational management, demonstrating the marine capability we are continuing to build within AMC.

Our footprint is growing alongside our project portfolio. The opening of our new Mumbai office with Lamprell was another important step this quarter. With around 60 colleagues now based there, the team supports major projects and helps us build stronger in-country engineering and project capabilities. As the monsoon period draws to a close, our vessels and teams are preparing to resume work in October on our offshore project in India, which includes pipelay, demolition and facilities modifications.

We have continued to strengthen the standards and skills behind the business too. AMC is now a Contractor Member of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), adding an important industry connection as our offshore activities grow. Following our UAE office’s ISO certifications earlier this year, we are pleased to have now achieved the same certifications for our Saudi Arabia office.

Developing our people is equally important. Several AMC leaders have now participated in the Algihaz Energy Leadership Development Journey, led by John Macdonald, CHRO of Algihaz Energy Holding. This edition explores why practical leadership skills – from managing performance and developing teams to influencing across organisational boundaries – are increasingly important as AMC grows.

We also hear from Mairead Mescall, our HR Director, about the people priorities behind AMC’s growth and the work underway to build the organisation for the future. Attracting the right talent is only part of that challenge; creating the environment, systems and development opportunities that allow people to build meaningful careers with AMC will be just as important.

Together, the stories in this edition reflect a business that is steadily adding depth: delivering larger and more complex scopes, strengthening its marine capability, developing its people and building the infrastructure needed to support future growth.

Thank you, as always, to our employees, clients and partners for the trust and commitment that continue to move AMC forward.
